The Living Asia Legacy
2013 marks the 40th year passing of the martial arts legend Bruce Lee, he lives on as a spiritual icon – fearless. To commemorate the Chinese Kung Fu legend, Johnnie Walker Blue Label wanted to launch a campaign that incorporated Bruce’s philosophy and bring it to more people.
Working in conjunction with advertising company for the Bruce Lee annual campaign, we specifically designed a set of souvenir – visual flipbook. The content uses illustration to display Bruce’s signature moves and fuses his classic quotes into the illustration, blending in the two seamlessly.
The illustration use organic lines to recreate the shape and form of filling a glass to represent the brand, visually each picture has included over 100 of his famous quotes, no matter dynamically or each individual page has its only independent visual experience.
